The 170 page book is in four chapters:

Refugees now
Contains statistics, where do people flee from and where to do they flee, and information on the European Union's, Finland's and Sweden's refugee policy

In refuge and stories
This chapter contains refugee interviews from around the world, descriptions of the countries people have fled from and peoples flight stories.

Everyday refugee life in Uganda

The books can freely be copied for educational use, and you  can find the books in pdf form on the Finnish and Swedish pages.

The www.finnref.org pages contain additional material in Finnish and in Swedish that can be used together with the articles in the books or independently. There is also some material for language teaching in German and in English.

The material has been written by experts in refugee and development issues, by journalists and by university students in teacher and journalism training.

The fourth chapter Everyday life in Uganda is also supported by a video "In flight in Uganda".
